Do I really have to explain that that ANONYMOUS ALERT IS PROBABLY FAKE?

1. The Government doesn’t have the time to do a sweep. ALL OF THE EAST COAST COMPUTERS IN ONE WEEKEND? I’M CALLING BULLSHIT.

2. I shouldn’t have to tell you that wiping your drive means NOTHING on your computer. NO FILES, NO INTERNET, NOTHING.

3. Why would they target just the East Coast? If anything, they’d try to go after everywhere. Seems pretty fishy.

4. Here’s the big one: If you’ve done something illegal, the internet/cable providers would’ve already noticed. 

And besides, if you’ve got nothing to hide…why are you so worried?
